happy spring! well, technically it’s autumn for half of the world but that doesn’t matter. i’m just glad that soon it will be warm again, i’m so sick of stupid winter! *kicks it* i celebrated spring by refusing to wear my coat and eating an ice cream. which meant i was doubly cold, heh.

i’m looking forward to the week when my birthday is, since it is also mid semester break at uni which means i can take a week off from both my study and teaching. i’m going to use the time to relax and catch up on all the things i wish i had more time to do… like playing video games and drawing smutty comics.

speaking of games, i started playing trauma center on my ds last night but i found it kind of icky… i know it’s just fake surgery but it’s still really unappealing to be there sucking blood out of wounds and having the patient flatline because i forgot to use anesthetic before i cut them open >.> maybe they could replace the UMAT (the test you have to do here to get into medicine) with that game. if you get mad at the time limit and start stabbing the patient with the stylus, then you’re out.

one of the necklaces i ordered arrived last week. i love it! i’ve been wearing it almost every day.

it’s the first time i’ve bought something from etsy, although i like browsing there a lot. this necklace came from a store called ‘the chartreuse room‘. i like that i’m buying something from someone who is selling things they have made with love and hard work, it’s much nicer than buying something mass-produced. for that same reason i’ve been thinking of buying some prints from some of the less well-known types of artists whose work i like, such as this. actually i’d love to own something by some of the more well known artist i like too, such as audrey kawasaki. but it really annoys me the way she does her prints in limited editions. i wish she would sell little postcards or something.
